This review is only my way to examine whether it suits me or works. If yes, I’ll take a shot; if no, I’ll steer clear. Without further ado, let’s get started.

OneHope Wine is a wine MLM that sells quality wine and provides the tools, coaching, and support to launch your business as a OneHope Cause Entrepreneur(distributor).
They started in 2007, and after 15 years, they now have their proprietary wine production facility called ESTATE8, with over 50 exceptional varietals in the heart of Napa Valley.
However, is this a good opportunity that you can work from the comfort of your home and be your own boss? Let me share more details right below, so you’ll get enough information to make up your mind.
Inside OneHope Wine
We will talk about two things today: the wines and the other is the business plan. Let’s start with the wine first.
Product Lines
OneHope wines fall into the following categories:
- Red: Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Red Blends, etc
- White: Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, etc
- Sparkling: Moscato Sparkling Wine, California Brut Sparkling, Sparkling Rosé, and special editions
- Rosé: California Rosé, California Sparkling Rosé, and Limited Edition Grazia Rosé
Other wine MLM companies offer similar products, such as Scout And Cellar, Traveling Vineyard, and Boisset Collection. You need to know what makes OneHope wines stand out from the crowd before selling their wines.
For me, what makes OneHope stand out from the crowd is the Signature Series Wine. OneHope partners with other celebrities engaged with the brand and help children and dogs by selling each bottle.

How To Make Money With OneHope Wine?
There are two ways to make money with any MLM business, and OneHope Wine is no exception.
- Selling products to make commissions
- Recruiting people to become your downlines to hit group sales targets for extra bonuses and incentives
You don’t make money by recruiting people, but by the sales they make and they sell. This is the difference between calling it a pyramid scheme or an MLM business.
Getting Started
To start making money as a OneHope Cause Entrepreneur, you need to be at least 21-year old and purchase one of the below three starter kits.

- Join Kit $39
- Wine Kit Add-on $39+$99=$138
- Wine Kit Add-on $39+$199=$238
You’ll have three “Hope at Home” catalogs, marketing brochures, five order forms, a get-started planner, a sparkling wine stopper, and tasting note cards in your Join Kit.
Besides the Join Kit, you can pay $99 to get 6 Vintner Collection Wines or $199 for a 4-pack tasting flight & branded Neoprene wine bag.
Another cost you need to cover is the Membership Fee, which is $99 per year or $12 per month.
The cost doesn’t stop here. WHAT?
To stay active and be eligible for commissions, you must have 300PCV(Personal Commissionable Volume) per month. Now, we can calculate the total cost of one year joining OneHope.
- Join Kit $39-$238
- Membership Fees $99
- Monthly Requirement $300*12=$3,600
So, you might spend $3,738-$3,937 for one year, which is quite a burden for everyday people like you and me.
Other costs, such as additional training, travel, gas, food, or miscellaneous expenses, are not included, so the total cost must be higher than my calculation here.
OneHope Compensation Plan
Here we come to the essential part of this review. MLMs have the most complicated compensation plan that confuses people, and they like to create their terms and fancy acronyms to make people see loads of ways to make money.
I’ve tried my best to make things easier for you today. Here are three ways to make money with OneHope Wine:
- Personal Sales Volume: Earn up to 25%* on all personal sales
- Personal Sponsoring: Earn $20 each time you sponsor a new Cause Entrepreneur who becomes 1st time qualified
- Team Building & Leading: Enjoy bonuses when you coach and mentor others. You will earn $30 for each new Level 1 CE who earns their Rock Star Bonus.
You can check the 36-page compensation plan HERE to learn more.
How Much Do You Need to Sell to Stay Active?
To be active as a Cause Entrepreneur, you must have 300PCV(Personal Commissionable Volume) in a given month.
Usually, the higher the rank, the more requirements you need to achieve to maintain your status.

OneHope Ranks
There is a total of 10 ranks inside OneHope Wine. You go from one rank to another by hitting sales targets with a certain downline qty to earn more commissions, bonuses, and incentives.

Ugly Truth About OneHope Wine
TOP#1 Expensive Products
OneHope wine prices range from $25 to 100+, and if you constantly purchase wines in your local liquor stores, you’ll know it’s a bit pricey compared to non-MLM wine brands.

Since it’s more expensive than other brands, you’ll have difficulty selling the wines to your family, friends, neighbors, or colleagues.
TOP#2 Hidden Monthly Cost
You need at least 300PCV in a given month to be active and receive the commissions and incentives.
You may purchase the wines yourself if you cannot sell 300PCV worth of products. This makes every Cause Entrepreneur become the most loyal customer of OneHope, and it’s also why people fail to make money with any MLM business.
TOP#3 No Income Disclosure
I can’t find OneHope Wine’s income disclosure on their website, so I guess they are hiding something here. If they have good results yearly, they will share the information after the previous fiscal year ends. But they didn’t.
They have operated for more than 15 years, so I believe they have enough time and data to output the income disclosure statement. Otherwise, they make people think they are not transparent.
What I Liked About OneHope Wine
TOP#1 Growing Market
Unlike saturated and competitive health & Wellness MLMs or beauty & cosmetics MLMs, the wine MLM market is still growing.
We can deny that this is an excellent market to promote since almost every friend of mine likes drinking wine. If you also have a lot of wine-drinking friends, OneHope wine will potentially be a good fit.
Can You Make Money Selling OneHope Wine?
Yes, I am sure you can make money with OneHope Wine, especially those extroverts who like to meet different people and talk about the same products repeatedly.
If you are also obsessed with wines, then OneHope Wine is the place to go. You can also check other wine MLMs as options.
Since no income disclosure statements are available online, we cannot know the average annual income for each rank of OneHope Wine.
Based on this FTC document, 99% of MLM participants lose money. Meaning only 1% make profits. So, it’s not a “work from home and be your own boss” opportunity.

I don’t recommend you quit your 9-5 jobs and make this your primary income since it’s far from enough to pay your bills, let alone support your family.
Is OneHope Wine A Pyramid Scheme?
Let’s read Wikipedia’s definition of a pyramid scheme. “A pyramid scheme is a business model that recruits members via a promise of payments or services for enrolling others into the scheme, rather than supplying investments or sale of products.”
OneHope Wine offers various wines and a business plan for people to make money, so we won’t call it a pyramid scheme.
Is OneHope Wine A Scam?
No, it’s not a scam. Typically, a scam or a pyramid scheme cannot survive the first year once people complain and report it to the authority.
OneHope Wine has operated for more than one decade so far. If they were a scam, they couldn’t survive this long and keep growing for the next decade.
When it comes to making money online, there are plenty of options on the internet, such as freelancing, dropshipping, GPT sites, drop services, or affiliate marketing. Wanna know my top pick?
My Alternative Way to Make Money Online
My alternative way to make money online is through affiliate marketing instead of promoting OneHope Wine products in person.
Imagine you sell OneHope Wine products to your friends, family, or anyone you know. Don’t you feel embarrassed or blush? They might avoid you ever since.
Doing affiliate marketing will save you from that:
- It’s free to start your affiliate marketing business.
- You don’t need to buy physical products and sell them face to face.
- There is no monthly minimum sales quota in affiliate marketing.
- You don’t recruit people to become your downlines to build a team.
- You are not restricted to promoting one product. You can promote anything you like!
- Work on your schedules & you are your OWN BOSS!
You only need to start a blog with quality content. So every time people land on your site to read your product reviews or other articles, they will find insight and value.
If they like it, they may purchase the products or services via your links. Here come your earning potentials.

The platform I am using currently is Wealthy Affiliate. You will find all the proven-to-work training courses, every Friday night LIVE training courses, one keyword research tool called Jaaxy, 24/7 site support, and the most friendly community.

Hi Matt,
Ok, this is something really interesting and surprising at the same time as I have never heard so many things about wine and selling them with all the plans that are mentioned is just amazing! The best thing about OneHope Wine is that they are new to the market and not saturated like the other plans or other businesses which makes it stand different.
If you are looking for a multiple income sources then I think this is a great option to start with as it is very interesting and also not a SCAM which is a great deal overall! I will definitely share it with my friends as this will definitely help them!
Thanks
Cheers!
Hi Samantha,
Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment. I hope it helps you well. 🙂
If you like wine and want to sell OneHope wine to make money, I think it’s a good idea. Since they don’t have income disclosure statements available online, I can’t tell you the percentage of people who make decent money. If you succeed, don’t hesitate to come back and leave a comment below.
Cheers,
Matt
Hey Matt,
I never knew there were these types of schemes for wine. I’m wondering if my friend’s wives or girlfriends would be interested in something like this.
I have heard a lot about Pyramid Schemes in different industries such as technology, not saying that this is a Pyramid Scheme after reading your advice. However, you could understand why people would be skeptical about this type of thing.
I will share this with my friends and their partners and see what they think as they are huge wine buffs 🙂
Thank you for sharing and keep up the great work.
All the best,
Tom
Hi Tom,
Yes, in the MLM industry, you can always find surprises. The nature of MLM makes it hard to generate a high income, so I don’t blame OneHope Wine on this. I only suggest people try MLM businesses if they love using certain MLM products so much. In that case, they have more chances to succeed than ordinary people like you and me. For example, people who love wines…
Since it’s difficult to make decent money with OneHope Wine, I recommend people start a blog to run an affiliate marketing business from today. It’s so much affordable, easy-to-follow, and no prior experiences are needed. I’ve leveraged this platform to make stable online income, and if I can do this, I am sure you can make it too.
Take Action Today!
