What Is Affiliate Secrets 3.0?

-Summary of Affiliate Secrets 3.0-

Product Name: Affiliate Secrets 3.0
Founders: Spencer Mecham
Product Type: High-Ticket Affiliate Marketing Training Program
Price: $1,497 one-time, $600 three payments, $197 eight payments
Recommend: Yes and No!

Affiliate Secrets 3.0 is an affiliate marketing training program that helps you make money via paid ads, and the third iteration adds blogging as the most in-depth training course.

Spencer Mecham is one of the top affiliates of ClickFunnels, so it’s safe to say that he knows a lot about affiliate marketing. This training course is his masterpiece to help everyone make money through affiliate marketing.

Simply put, I love the training content since Spencer covers almost everything you need to know if you are dead serious about affiliate marketing. If you are looking for overnight success or a get-rich-quick scheme, this program is not for you.

However, the biggest letdown is the price. I don’t know about you, but paying $1,497 for an online training course is not my cup of tea, not to mention Spencer doesn’t provide any free trial. Let me share more details right below so that you can be the judges yourself.

Who Is Spencer Mecham?

Spencer Mecham is the first affiliate who made 1 million in Clickfunnels affiliate commissions and the first person who joined 2 Comma Club with the Clickfunnels Dream Car.

He is also the top affiliate of Legendary Marketer and some other affiliate programs. This program shares his secrets to help others take their affiliate marketing business to the next level.

Affiliate Secrets 3.0 Training Modules

There are nine training modules inside Affiliate Secrets 3.0. It includes how to pick a niche, find affiliate products, build your email list, and so on. Let me break them down one by one for you.

Module #1 – Niche

It’s all about choosing a good niche to build an affiliate marketing business that brings you an online income. Spencer shows you three top niche categories to pick up from, and you will also learn how to find digital products with high commissions and your target audiences.

? Pro Tip: Check my article about how to find your niche without paying a dime.

Module #2 – Products

Once you pick up a niche, you may wonder what products you will promote? Right? Each niche has many affiliate products to promote, but building trust with your audience is the key before selling.

Spencer will teach you how to promote specific, high-ticket, and recurring offers so that you can replicate them to get similar results.

Module #3 – Lead Magnets

Unlike other training courses that teach you to start a blog running an affiliate marketing business, Affiliate Secrets 3.0 focuses on building an email list with suitable lead magnets.

A lead magnet means gifts you provide to your audience in exchange for their email address so that you can follow up with them and turn them into actual customers.

You will learn what makes a good lead magnet, design a lead magnet, and how to deliver your lead magnet to grow your list.

Module #4 – Landing Pages

Module 4 will teach you how to create a landing page to promote the lead magnet you made in module 3. Spencer will show you some best landing page builders for different scenarios and analyze the pros & cons for each builder.

Module #5 – Email Marketing

Since Spencer focuses on email marketing, in this module, he shows you his email marketing results and how to automate the whole process.

He talks about email marketing terms, capturing emails, building email automation, writing email sequences, and sharing two email samples.

Email Marketing Process
Email Marketing Process

Module #6 – Bonuses

A bonus is what you can add to your offers to boost your affiliate sales, and this helps you maximize your earning potential. Every affiliate gets the same materials as your offers, but if you can add extra bonuses, you might beat them to stand out from the crowd.

Spencer shows you when to use bonuses, which are the best, and builds landing pages for your bonuses.

Module #7 – JV Launches

JV launches mean collaborations between product creators/vendors and affiliates, which benefit both sides when launching new products.

Spencer explains the ethics behind this method and only promotes the products that can benefit your target audience.

He even shares a failed collaboration so that you can learn to avoid the same mistake.

Module #8 – Pro Tip/Access

The Pro Tip here means giving people direct access to you. By implementing this method, you will gain your readers’ trust and confidence in you, which brings you more opportunities to increase affiliate commissions.

The most important key factor is to provide value to your audience so that they will try the products you are promoting.

Module #9- Adwords

The last training module is all about Google Ad Words. In Spencer’s words, it’s the easiest way to make money through an affiliate marketing business. However, the ugly truth is that running paid ads won’t guarantee any income. You might end up losing more than you make.

You will learn how to find keywords, auctions, campaigns & ad groups, and advanced techniques to help you master it.

Traffic Edition

This is the 2nd part of the training, teaching you how to generate traffic via various social media platforms.

  1. Facebook Organi
  2. YouTube
  3. TikTok
  4. Facebook Groups
  5. Blogging

Bonuses

Besides the training modules, you will get extra bonuses to get the most of Affiliate Secrets 3.0. Spencer packed Affiliate Secrets 3.0 with information to help you succeed online.

  • DFY email sequences
  • One-click landing page imports
  • Outsourcing secrets
  • JV launch secrets
  • 30-Day Fast Track
  • Adwords Millionaire

How Much Is Affiliate Secrets 3.0?

A good training course will get more expensive over time. Affiliate Secrets 1.0 was $397, and Affiliate Secrets 2.0 was $997. Now, it’s $1,497 one time after Spencer upgraded the content and bonuses.

If you are tight on budget, you have two payment options: $600 three payments or $197 eight payments.

Who Is Affiliate Secrets 3.0 For?

People are dead serious about making money online via affiliate marketing and never give up. You will learn Spencer’s system that he used to make 1 million in Clickfunnels affiliate commissions.

If you are looking for overnight success or a get-rich-quick scheme, this program may not suit you very well.

Ugly Truth About Affiliate Secrets 3.0

TOP#1 Expensive

To be honest, paying $1,497 is expensive for affiliate marketing beginners. Affiliate Secrets 3.0 might not be the best pick if you were just starting since you need to invest a fortune first.

Other good training programs and platforms offer free trials to help you start your affiliate marketing business, such as this one. But, if you like to follow Spencer, you could check his free courses or his YouTube channel instead.

TOP#2 No SEO Training

People complained there was no SEO(Search Engine Optimization) training, which is the most effective way to bring free/organic traffic to your website. I am a big fan of SEO, and it helps me rank some of my posts on the first page of Google, such as this one and this one.

TOP#3 Extra Costs

Since Spencer is teaching you how to promote affiliate offers with a sales funnel, it’s inevitable to subscribe to Clickfunnels to build your online business. If you also like to build an email list, you also need an autoresponder.

  1. ClickFunnels: $97 or $297 per month
  2. Autoresponder: $16+ per month
  3. Paid Ads: $$$

As for paid ads, it takes trials and errors to find your success formula, and it’s easy to spend hundreds or thousands before making your first affiliate sales. I don’t have that budget, so I prefer SEO and keyword researches to rank my posts higher on search engines.

What I Liked About Affiliate Secrets 3.0

TOP#1 Spencer Is A Real Deal!!!

Spencer is the first one who made 1 million sales in Clickfunnels affiliate commissions and the first person who joined the 2 Comma Club as a ClickFunnels affiliate.

He knows a lot about affiliate marketing, so Affiliate Secrets 3.0 is more like an “over-the-shoulder” training course to learn from his tips to succeed in affiliate marketing.

TOP#2 A Complete Training

With this complete training from Spencer, you can learn his marketing strategies and the same tactics he used for his affiliate marketing business.

Affiliate-Marketing-Process
Affiliate Marketing Process

Especially, he teaches a lot about paid traffic generation. Traffic is the lifeblood of an online business, so if you learn how to drive massive traffic to your site, you get more chances to make sales.

TOP#3 A 15-Day Refund Policy

If you take at least 50% of the course and still feel it did not deliver what was expected, you can request a refund within 15 days of purchase. Anything after 15 days will be judged on a case-by-case basis. At least, it’s possible to take our hard-earned money back if we don’t like the training.

Is Affiliate Secrets 3.0 A Scam?

No, Affiliate Secrets 3.0 is NOT a scam. It is an excellent training course if you ignore the price tag. I believe it suits those who are dead serious about affiliate marketing and those who can put consistent hard work and patience into their online business.

However, Affiliate Secrets 3.0 isn’t my top pick when it comes to affiliate marketing.

My ideal affiliate marketing platform should have legitimate training courses, live training sessions, one keyword research tool, 24/7 site support, powerful features and tools, an online community of 2 million likely-minded solopreneurs. Wealthy Affiliate happens to meet those requirements and has more to offer.

Alternative Program(My Favorite)

I believe that you don’t need to pay $1,497 when you can get all affiliate marketing at a $49 membership fee per month or $495 per year. An alternative I do recommend is Wealthy Affiliate(WA).

  1. When you are doing your training courses, you get to know Kyle & Carson, the founders of Wealthy Affiliate. They are both down-to-earth guys who make WA always over-deliver and under-promise.
  2. Wealthy Affiliate is an affiliate marketing education platform that comes with training courses, powerful tools & features(one keyword research tool included), and the 24/7 support you need to maintain your affiliate marketing business.
  3. At Wealthy Affiliate, we won’t give you false and misleading claims to make you think it’s easy to make money online. We all know things won’t go in that direction.
  4. You are not restricted to promoting the product from one specific company, and you can promote any niche you have a passion for with the related products or services.
  5. You don’t need to pay for the upsells provided to know how the affiliate marketing system works. You can get it instantly from Wealthy Affiliate when you first start.
  6. Wealthy Affiliate offers a 7-day FREE trial without the credit card details required. If this is not your cup of tea after seven days, you won’t lose a penny from your pocket. I will also be your coach & advisor for your online business, so see you very soon on the other side.
  7. There are many WA success stories on the internet, and I am sure you can find a lot with one simple Google search. I’ve handpicked the most inspiring ones in the next paragraph, so enjoy them.

  1. Matt,

It’s funny that you did a review of Spencer’s 3.0. I’m a fan of Spencer and have been following him for years now and I thought about signing up for this, but honestly, I just didn’t have $1,497 to sign up. I did go to the free class where he pitched this, but again, just not enough funding. Instead, I watch all his YT videos and of course, follow him on his FB groups. He recently started getting into Crypto and started a new group for newbies that want to learn more since he’s growing pretty well in that industry.

You’re right though with SEO – that’s a major factor in any affiliate’s business. We have to rank in order to get views and if you don’t rank, people simply don’t find you. Sure, you’ll be on Google, but you’ll be on page 80 and no one goes to that page to find what they’re looking for. If you don’t rank on page 1, you don’t really get anywhere.

Thanks for posting this review! I’m debating on tagging Spencer on this, but I’ll read it one more time before doing that. Don’t want to offend anyone, especially when we do reviews. πŸ™‚

Thanks for sharing this! Loved it!

    • Hi Katrina,

Thanks for sharing your experiences with Spencer’s YT videos, free class, and the Facebook group. You provide value to my readers who like to try Affiliate Secrets 3.0.

I love SEO since it’s the best gift for newbies to rank their websites higher on search engines. In that case, people have more chances to read what you are promoting to make affiliate commissions.

      Cheers,
      Matt

  2. This is an elaborate review. Would save a lot of time in going through the fine details myself.

As you said, I also feel the pricing is on the high side. Although to be fair, there are lots of benefits to be gained according to the reviews.
But the lack of SEO training is such a bummer. Organic traffic saves lots of money and is very rewarding. It would have been nice to include the training in there, as that would have been a value for such an expensive product.

Thanks for the alternative program suggestion. I’d check that out too and compare.
A brilliant review in all. Good job Matt!

    Cheers,
    Femi.

    • Hi Femi,

Thanks a lot for coming back to my website and leaving a comment. I hope this review helps you well. πŸ™‚ It’s such a pity that Spence doesn’t include enough SEO training in this costly training course. If he adds in the next upgrade, I believe it will be perfect.

On the other hand, Wealthy Affiliate is a better solution to start a blog running an affiliate marketing business for beginners. I joined WA three years ago and leveraged it to make a stable online income. If I can do this, everyone can make it!

      Cheers,

  3. Hey Matt,

Thanks for the great review. I have read about this program before, while I believe it’s a legitimate program, the price is high. However, in saying that, it’s a one-time payment of $1,497, compare that to other programs that charge monthly or annually, it probably works out cheaper.

As you mentioned Wealthy Affiliate (WA) is a great alternative, it’s a great program, that has multiple training opportunities with low costs to get started, but I’ve been with WA for 6 years and while I’ve spent more than $1,497 during that time, I believe I get greater value for my money such as:

    50 Hosted websites, all with SSL certificates;
    Unlimited email accounts for each site;
    Access to the Jaaxy keyword research tool;
    A supportive community; and
    Much more

So I’m sticking with WA. Thanks again for the great review πŸ™‚

    • Hi Gaylene,

Thanks for showing us all the things people will get if they subscribe to Wealthy Affiliate as a premium member. I believe they provide more value than the price you pay every month. It’s correct that we might end up paying more for an online training program if it’s not a one-time payment. But for me, the value, the tools, powerful features, and an online community make me think Wealthy Affiliate is a better place for beginners to start affiliate marketing businesses. I’ve leveraged it to make a stable online income, so I know it’s possible. πŸ™‚

  4. Hi Matt,

I’ve heard of Spencer Meecham before. He must be well-known πŸ˜‰ This program looks great and I’m sure you can learn a lot with this, but the price puts me off as well. Whether it’s the one-off payment or it’s divided into several payments, price-wise you’re not getting a deal at all. I would love to learn more about email marketing, and I think that I could probably learn a great deal from Spencer’s program, but I think that I can find training that is just as good for a lower price.

    • Hi Christine,

Yes, the cost to join Affiliate Secrets 3.0 is a pain in the head for many people, and it might go up since Spencer updates the training regularly. I agree with you that you can find a similar training platform to learn email marketing because there are many good platforms out there helping people succeed in affiliate marketing. This one is my top pick. πŸ™‚

      Cheers,

  5. Hi Matt,
This seems to be a legit training program for anyone who wants to start affiliate marketing. From the modules mentioned, I could see that Spencer covers the basics. But without SEO training there is no use in learning any online business. Also, the price is a bit high and anyone who is new to affiliate marketing will hesitate to pay such a huge amount. Instead, they can go for the affordable alternate platform like Wealthy Affiliate where you have the opportunity to try for free.

    • Hi Kavitha,

I agree with you that trying Wealthy Affiliate for free is a better approach for those who don’t have enough cash to learn affiliate marketing. Yes, the training of Affiliate Secrets 3.0 covers most affiliate marketing strategies, but the cost is something that pushes me away from it. I remembered how skeptical I was when I joined WA three years ago, but look at me now, I’ve leveraged WA to make a stable online income already. That’s the reason I recommend WA to everyone interested in making money online through affiliate marketing.

      Cheers,

  6. Thanks a lot, Matt, for your highly informative post. I have been investigating marketing training platforms for about three years now, comparing them with one another and reading feedback of their customers. I’ve never heard of Affiliate Secrets 3.0 until now, and I was rather intrigued. Spencer Mecham seems a highly trustworthy person with a massive amount of expertise in his fields, so that would be a plus for me.

The price is huge; however, if I understood it right, it’s just a one-off payment, not a yearly subscription, which is better I think. It’s great pity there is no free trial, he may actually be missing out on a lot of customers! I’ve signed up for a lot of training programs exactly because I had the chance of a free trial and that gained my trust.

Their training seems great, though, and the fact that you can still get your money back after 15 days is a great plus. The best thing is that you’ve helped to uncover the question of whether this is a scam or not, and I’m glad to hear that they’re completely legitimate. I’m thus adding them to my list of platforms to consider. Thanks again for your insightful post!

    • Hi Lucie,

It’s good to see you have so much to say about Spencer Mecham’s Affiliate Secrets 3.0. I don’t deny this is good training, and it teaches you how to make money through affiliate marketing, but the cost is such a burden for me and many others. If you are tight on budget and can’t invest in this, I suggest you try Wealthy Affiliate since they offer a 7-day free trial. In that case, you will learn more about the training, the founder, the online community.

I joined WA three years ago, and I’ve leveraged it to make a stable online income. So, I know it’s possible to make money online through affiliate marketing if you land on a legitimate platform. πŸ™‚

  8. Hi Matt, Thank you for your excellent review! I have to say that I was impressed because I had never thought about building an email list to create affiliate customers. Of course, an email list is great for building a customer list, but I always focussed on blogging and affiliate links. Now, I don’t know what I can give my customers as a bonus, or any way. Maybe an ebook? I need to look more into this opportunity! However, it sounds like having lots of advantages, but the price is distancing me. I can’t afford to pay this price, but the training sounds like a great option.
I know Wealthy Affiliate, and they are excellent, low priced in comparison, people get many courses, training, and SEO training. The classes are fabulous! And we can start for free. Many plus points! πŸ™‚

Yes, an email list is something you have complete control over, and you can follow up with your leads to turn them into actual customers in the long run. Email marketing is one of the most effective ways to promote affiliate offers, and yes, you need to pick up this method to scale your affiliate marketing business.
The price tag of Affiliate Secrets 3.0 is the biggest letdown, and many cannot afford it. On the other hand, Wealthy Affiliate is a much affordable option with the same training to help people succeed in affiliate marketing. I’ve leveraged it to make a stable online income, so I highly recommend WA to everyone interested in affiliate marketing.

  9. Thanks for sharing such a detailed review of Affiliate Secrets 3.0. Although it’s expensive, it’s good that Spencer gives you various options with payment. All aspects of making money as an affiliate are covered apart from SEO. While Adwords can result in sales it can also lose you a lot of money. Email marketing can also drive a lot of sales and it’s good to see there’s a module covering this. However, Clickfunnels is expensive and may not be right for a beginner. On the whole, though this looks like a worthwhile investment provided action is taken and buyers don’t give up.

    • Hi Kathy,

Yes, Affiliate secrets 3.0 has three payment options for people in different financial conditions. Spencer covers almost everything to build an affiliate marketing business, but it’s not perfect. I am a big fan of SEO, which helps me rank my articles higher on search engines so that people land on them ahead of others. The training will be perfect if Spencer adds this in the next update.

I agree with you that AdWords can help you drive faster traffic to bring affiliate sales, but at the same time, it costs you hundreds or thousands easily before making your first sales. I don’t encourage beginners to go this route when they first start their affiliate marketing journey. They can try Wealthy Affiliate to learn SEO and keyword research as their online businesses’ priority.

      Cheers,

  10. I just began affiliate marketing about a year ago. I am learning it takes a lot more than just good writing and content to succeed. It deals with so many other issues I was unaware of. It’s good to know there are platforms out there willing to help you succeed. However, as a beginner, it’s tough to initially put out that kind of money. I joined Wealthy Affiliate which is much less expensive than Affiliate Secrets 3.0 and have learned quite a bit. I realize though that I have only touched the tip of the iceberg. So much more to learn. Thanks for this review. It was very informative.

Starting a blog and running an affiliate marketing business takes a lot more than people think. It also takes time, hard work, and patience to see positive results. People quit in the first 3-6 months after setbacks, so setting up a correct mindset before building your online business is essential.

  11. Hey Matt! Thanks a lot for another great review. I think this program looks awesome. Spencer definitely knows what is talking about. As I am in Affiliate Marketing self, the modules with their content are VALUABLE and IMPORTANT part of Affiliate Marketing business, seeing his results, it just adds up to the overall nice experience of the product. However, the price? Wow! That’s something not everyone can afford. Additionally, the extra costs for ClickFunnels and traffic might add up significantly. So in the end, it is safe to say, it is not for someone who has not a huge budget.

The training content inside Affiliate Secrets 3.0 is comprehensive and valuable, which suits those with affiliate marketing experience. As for beginners, I think they cannot afford such an expensive training course when they first started, not to mention those additional costs for ClickFunnels and paid ads.

On the other hand, Wealthy Affiliate is the best place to start an affiliate marketing business for all levels. I’ve leveraged it to make a stable online income, so I know it’s possible. If I can do this, trust me, everyone can do this.
