30 Day Blog Challenge is an online blogging course that teaches you how to start your blog, set it up, and build a list through email marketing to turn leads into sales & commissions. In this case, you can successfully monetize your blog and generate a full-time income.
After digging deep, it is legitimate and proven to work. I am also using the same method for my affiliate marketing website, so I know it’s not a scam. Let me show you everything you need to know to get enough information to make up your mind.
Inside 30 Day Blog Challenge
The 30 Day Blog Challenge training is designed for new bloggers, people who want to start a blog for their first time, and they will help you set up a blog from scratch. If you have a blog and hosting service already, you may not be eligible for this product. Why? I will talk more about this later in my review.
Step 01 – Start Your Blog
In step 01, they will teach you how to create your blog from the ground. You will learn how to choose your niche and create a list of narrow topics you can write about.
For example, if you choose the Health & Fitness niche, it will be SUPER competitive. But, if you write about HIIT workout to keep fit & healthy, you narrow down the niche and become less competitive. Make sense?
Then, you will know that this blogging course is free only if you follow their suggestion to purchase a hosting plan from BlueHost. If you purchase any of the plans, you will get access to the entire course free of charge for the first 30 days. Ather 30 days, it’s $39 per month.
Step 02 – Set Up Your Blog
In the second step, you will learn how to set up your blog, including setting up your WordPress site, naming your blog, choosing a theme, and activating some plugs.

Step 03 – Setup Email Marketing For Your Blog
Once you set up your blog, you will find out that they focus a lot on email marketing, and they advise you to start right away.
Email marketing allows you to build an email list and build trust with your readers. You can follow up with them to build trust and turn them into sales in the later phases. It’s one of the most effective & powerful marketing methods.
They recommend you to use Constant Contact and instruct you to take the free trial, set up your first list, and set up the subscription form on your blog.
Step 04 – Design Your Blog
In the last step, they will teach you the following to design your blog. There is no coding and programming needed for this step, and what you need to do is only a few clicks.
- Creating your custom menus
- Learn how to use widgets
- Customize your about page
- Customize your contact page
How Much Does It Cost?
They make you into thinking it’s free but this is not true.
It’s actually a $389 online course, but if you subscribe to BlueHost hosting plans through their affiliate link inside your dashboard, you can get the first month for free.
To get access to the course and the community & features, you still need to pay $39 per month. As for the hosting plans by BlueHost, the costs range from $2.95 to $12.95 per month, and you need to purchase three years in advance, which equals $106.2 to $466.2 as the initial cost to join 30 Day Blog Challenge.

New bloggers, people who want to start a blog for their first time.
If you fall into that category, I don’t see harm to try it. If you run a blog and haven’t made any money online, you need to find legitimate platforms to teach you all the knowledge, such as Wealthy Affiliate(WA).
It helps me make my first commissions in less than one year, and if I can do this, you can make it too.
Ugly Truth About 30 Day Blog Challenge
TOP#1 You Are Forced To Use BlueHost
Yes, the only option of website hosting is BlueHost in the dashboard. Please don’t take me wrong here. I am not saying its service isn’t good. It will become so much better to allow people to choose their favorite hosting services. Don’t you agree?
Other online sources indicate that they only want to make commissions if people purchase the hosting plans from BlueHost. I don’t blame them because business is always business, and there is no free lunch.
TOP#2 Hidden Cost
They teach you to set up a free account with Constant Contact to build a list, which needs another investment. Autoresponder can help you follow up with your leads, and you may turn them into sales to earn commissions.
Normally, you can start from free trials with limited features in a short period. After the trial, it takes $16+ per month when you have under 1000 subscribers. The cost goes up as the subscriber counts increase. Here are my recommendations:

This sounds like a good challenge for beginner bloggers. I remember when I started blogging a while ago I would come across these kinds of things and they do sound good. Some of them were very expensive and some were pretty good pricing. This one is in the mid-range pricing for me I think.
Like all these kinds of things, there are going to be positives and negatives. So, all we can do is read your review which is mainly positive and doesn’t come across as this is a scam. Then try it out if this is something that we feel will help us.

It sounds good and although I’ve never used BlueHost before I heard many good comments about it. BlueHost seems to be a capable and reliable hosting platform, so I guess you can’t go wrong there, but I agree with you that it would be better to choose your own hosting platform of preference.

Yes, there are many good & positive comments for Bluehost online. However, they must provide good services and keep things under-promise for all the users.
There are many differences between Wealthy Affiliate and 30 Day Blog Challenge. The first one is that Wealthy Affiliate allows you to host your websites at your disposal without any limitations. WA also offers lots of powerful tools and functions that 30 Day Blog Challenge doesn’t have. For example, one keyword search tool called Jaaxy, which I used to rank my site higher on SERP so that people can land on my site easier.
I’ll stick to WA to continue to build my affiliate marketing website. 🙂

I liked the idea of the 30 Day Blog Challenge because if within 30 days I can have my own blog running and ready to generate leads, that is great.
However, I don’t like the idea of forcing people to use Bluehost for hosting including the price tag.
There are a lot of web hosting providers and I would like to be free to choose the one I like to build my business.

Hi Matt, It doesn’t sound bad, and I believe it might be a good help for a blogger beginner, but I was shocked by the negative comments. Reading them, it seems like they are scammers, trying to force people into their conditions.
Bluehost is not bad, and I have written a review about them, but you are right; people should be able to choose their favorite hosting freely.
Otherwise, the offered features are quite good and helpful!
However, I stick with my favorite platform where I have learned anything I needed to build an affiliate marketing website, which you have recommended, Wealthy Affiliate! Yes, it is actually good training for beginners who like to create a blog to share their enthusiasms for anything. Still, it’s quite disappointing to see that they force you to use BlueHost only so that they can make commissions from the hosting services you purchase.
I don’t mean they are doing something bad or deceptive because I know business is always business. They provide you free training on blogging, but you do need to pay something back as a returned favor. I don’t blame them on this, but people should know many platforms are teaching the same thing without too many limitations or strict conditions, such as Wealthy Affiliate.
