What is List Leverage?

-Summary of List Leverage-

Product Name: List Leverage
Founders: Matthew Neer
Product Type: Email List Building Program
Price: $49 per month / $398 yearly
Rating: 30 / 100
Recommend: No

List Leverage was founded by Matthew Neer, a highly successful 7-figure Super Affiliate marketer on JVZoo, Clickbank & Warrior Forum. He has been working in the industry for more than 10 years, and he must have some know-how for online business.

List Leverage is a list building program with an MLM-like compensation plan. They mention that you could turn 1 lead into 1000’s by using its advanced software solution(almost on auto-pilot) to achieve your financial goal as fast as possible. It also cooperates with two other programs: Traffic Authority by Doug Wellens and Send Shark by Joel Therien of Now Lifestyle and GVO.

It sounds very impressive, but I won’t recommend List Leverage after having experience of online business and reviewing 100+ online business opportunities. Read on to know more details.

How Does It Work?

After knowing the products inside List Leverage, I guess you don’t fully understand how the system works for your email list building. So, let me explain the process.

When you first sign up with List Leverage, you will need to provide your personal information such as username, email address, and passwords to create your own account. You will be secretly added to 6 random email lists of other members of List Leverage.

Those members who have your email address could send you endless emails to convince you to buy products they are promoting, normally other List Leverage products. You will also get the idea that you have to promote the List Leverage system to others while you go through the registration.

Then you refer someone into the system through your affiliate links and get them to promote List Leverage too, so this email list generating system can keep going.

Compensation Plan

Matthew Neer also creates a MLM-like compensation structure as below, and this encourages all the members to promote the system for commissions.

  1. List Leverage Monthly membership is $49 and pays a $20 commission to the direct Sponsor.
  2. List Leverage Annual membership is $398 and pays a $200 commission.

Side note: If the direct sponsor is not eligible, the commission will go up to the next qualified members(AKA uplines). For the additional products, you also get the commissions.

  • Pages = $97 retail pays a $50 commission
  • Swipes = $247 retail pays a $125 commission
  • Webinars = $497 retail pays a $250 commission

Ugly Truth About List Leverage

TOP#1 Expensive

If you want a fully working system to turn your traffic to leads from 1 to thousands, you might need to purchase all products from List Leverage. Let’s do a quick calculation here.

  1. List Leverage annual membership $398
  2. Pages $97
  3. Swipes $247
  4. Webinars $497

$398 + $97 + $247 + 497 = $1,239, isn’t it a huge amount of money for the online business beginners? I always scared that I would get robbed when I first started my online business, and I don’t think that you need to spend $1,239 to start yours.

A better platform to start your online business without paying a penny I would recommend is this ONE, and you don’t even need to type in your credit card numbers which means nothing to lose.

TOP#2 The Quality

Since you got the email address from the other new members to promote your own business, do you think all of them might be your target audience? Or basically you just pay to build an email list to sell List Leverage products?

The quality of the email sources is something I highly doubt, and your emails through the system will inevitably go to the spam folders. It’s also possible that you break the anti-spam laws in certain countries, so you really need to consider all troubles you might get yourself into.

TOP#3 Low Income Potential

You get the commission of selling people List Leverage products, so you must wonder “How much can I earn by referring people into List Leverage?” Look what I just found from the website.

It says that the average annual gross income of List Leverage members is between $300 to $1,800($25-$150 per month). Yes, you don’t hear me wrong.

I am sure that you cannot quit your 9-5 jobs by selling List Leverage products, and it’s only enough to cover some of your bills.

What I Liked About List Leverage

TOP#1 An MLM-like Compensation Plan

List Leverage has a compensation plan that mostly seen in the MLM industry, and the commission rate is higher than my expectation(50%).

This gives strong incentives for all members to promote the products to earn the commissions, so that might be the reason why you know List Leverage by someone’s emails in your spam folders.

Is List Leverage A Scam?

No, although there are three things I loathe from List Leverage, I won’t call it a scam. Simultaneously, I won’t recommend this system to anyone who is interested in making money online.

I prefer to build a website with high-quality content for my readers just like you here reading my reviews. By providing helpful and valuable insight, it’s possible to build a connection with them. They will eventually become your fans/followers/customers who will possibly purchase things that you recommend.

It might take longer to see positive results, but it worth the time and effort that I spend on building here. If this sounds nice and decent, you will also be interested in my alternative to make money online.

Alternative Program(My Favorite)

I believe that you don’t need to spend $1,239 for List Leverage when you can get all at a $49 membership fee per month. An alternative I do recommend is Wealthy Affiliate.

  1. You are not restricted to promote the product from one specific company(List Leverage), and you can promote any niche you have passion for with the related products or services.
  2. You don’t need to pay for the upsells provided to make the system work for you. You can get all instantly from Wealthy Affiliate when you first start.
  3. You get all the powerful tools, features, training courses, and support you need to maintain the success of your online business.

  1. Hi Matt. Thank you for sharing your honest review, really appreciate it. Your article also help me to have a better understanding how this List Leverage work.

And I do agree with you too that we can’t really receive target audience since they are other member email as what I have learn from Wealthy Affiliate we need to target the right audience that are interested in what we are offering in order to generate sales.

Yes, I highly recommend those people who are interested to go into online business, start with Wealthy Affiliate. It’s cost saving with no hidden cost and you can learn lot of things in there.

    • Hi Janet,

Glad you are also a WA member, I always love to connect with other WA members online or on my website. I start to be grateful that Wealthy Affiliate is the first platform that I leverage to make money online, and this feeling gets stronger after reviewing 100+ online opportunities.

So, I recommend people who have interests in affiliate marketing or making money online to check out WA, and you don’t even need a credit card to start for FREE.

  2. Thanks for this great review. It sounds like with List Leverage, your main audience is other marketers who are also trying to sell to you simultaneously, perhaps this list is not that valuable after all. Better to target people who want to buy rather than people who want to sell. That much is obvious.

I agree with your assessment of Wealthy Affiliate also. Great job!

    • Hi Bryce,

Thanks for backing me up with Wealthy Affiliate. I do believe that you won’t get much success by using the same emails every List Leverage member uses to promote List Leverage. It’s better that we create our own styles then to attract your potential customers.
