What’s Inside This Post?

The first thing comes to free traffic is your On page & Off page SEO. I’ve written about this with details, and you could check it out.

The concept of On page SEO is to using a captivating title, description, internal & external links, related image & video, and comments to boost the ranking and attract more visitors to your post.

Off page SEO means the other techniques you may proceed after you post your article. For example, I would copy & paste the permalink of every post into Google Search Console and resubmit my sitemaps.

This is to tell search engines that you have new stuff and request them to crawl your website.

PS. Don’t give up on Bing’s webmaster! Bing & Yahoo still got 33% market share in the search engine industry.

Quality Content

This is the hardest part of managing your blog & website with quality content.

My own way to achieve this is to first come out the post title I want to write by Jaaxy, then google it and study all the results on the page #1 & page #2 of Google to see which one catches my eyes the most. I would try to more close to it.

Another way is not to think it on purpose, just keep reading the topic you like to share with your target audience for 2-3 hours.

After that 2-3 hours, all the related content is internalized within you until you could talk about it like an expert.

PS. Remember to provide value and helpful tips as a bonus to your audience!

Target Long-Tail Keywords

Normally, when we first try to get a better ranking on Google search engines or attract more traffic, the hottest trendy topics will definitely come to our mind.

But, it’s too competitive to achieve our goal or it costs you a lot.

On the other hand, we would look for nice and decent long-tail keywords which means those less popular and low-volume keywords.

For example, if you want to write a post about “Make Money Online” which has the most difficult competition in the affiliate marketing industry.

What if we change our minds a bit and choose “Get Money Online”?

Let’s compare those two keywords in Jaaxy – The Best SEO Keyword Tool. You are able to see although “Get Money Online” has less average traffic & less traffic, but we will use it for our post.

Why? less-competitive less competitive and it’s highly possible you could get ranked by this long-tail keyword. Easy to understand, right?

Including Hashtags

Like the below screenshot when I edited my post of Wealthy Affiliate Review, I could add the most related hashtags like “BLOG”, “MakeMoneyOnline”, “WealthyAffiliate”, or “DigitalNomad”. The more relevant, the better.

Please don’t be creative too far for the hashtags since people might not be able to read your mind!

Share to All Your Social Media Accounts

Yeah, after posting your article to your blog or website, please share on all your favorite social media.

For example, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Linkedin(if it’s proper), or any forums if you like.

Some people might say it’s not appropriate to share what they are doing on their personal accounts, it’s fine.

The alternative way is to set up a fan page for your online business or a new business account on Instagram.

If you don’t like to share what you are newly creating on YouTube, you could consider uploading your videos on Vimeo.

There are always other choices to replace the one you are currently using. Don’t worry!

Start Creating Videos Or Using Someone Else’s

For every post, it’s important to embed at least one video. It could be yours or someone else.

Considering we are now heading to video communication and live streaming social media world, it could help you a lot if you start to make your own videos.

Imagine people search your videos on YouTube then click the link you add in the video description, so they come to your website at no cost at all. Isn’t it free traffic we look for so hard?

Comments & Replying

less-competitive hard to get the organic comment for your post. Among all the helpful tools in Wealthy Affiliate platform, I like sitecomment and sitefeedback the most.

It’s a pay-it-forward tool which means you could leave your comment on other’s posts, then asking for their feedback on your post too.

Sometimes, I do things differently to achieve this. I go to the most popular websites on page#1 and page#2 of Google and read carefully their posts If I want to write the same topics.

I would leave them comments with the link of my’s highly possible that the owner of the website comes to your post and feedback. Once you get any comments on your post, please do comment as soon as you can.

You may also leverage the comment by adding another link if they have questions or want to know better about something you have written a review about.

Start Email Marketing

You could make a landing page for your website with values you are providing and asking for them to leave their own emails to get a bonus or any previous updates from you. Or maybe adding a pop-up banner to gather their emails too.

Then consider using the email tool inside Wealthy Affiliate, or choose the email management tools outside Wealthy Affiliate(less-competitive OK!)

Learn From Your Analytics

After setting up your website, you should submit your website to Google Search Console and Google Analytics. Both help you a lot with the real situation for your website.

I basically spend 15 mins a day to read all the different data shown in the report.

Don’t overthink this report when you don’t have many traffic at first, you should focus on keeping writing quality content instead.

But, if you have plenty of visitors each day, you would have to read your report carefully like you’re solving a puzzle. It worth all the seconds you paid for it.

Guest Blog

Invite the thought leaders or influencers in the same industry to be a guest author for your blog will help too!

When people search for their names, they would come to your post! And, it’s also a great opportunity that you could write for other blogs or websites as a guest author too.

This is still free, but it needs more time to discuss with the other influencers for the mutual benefits, so I listed it as the last one!
