Color Street Nails, or Color Street, is an MLM or multi-level marketing company that sells nail products and accessories. And you can apply those beautiful nail strips to your nails effortlessly.
Meet The Founder
Color street was founded by Fa Park – an immigrant who came to the USA to pursue his opera dream.
When he saw women need to brush nail polish and blow their nails afterward, he thought he could do something about this to change the way women use nail polish.
He kept trying different methods to create his own patented and revolutionary products, and he NEVER gave up!
In 2005, Avon placed a $1,000,000 order, which was Mr. Park’s turning point. Two years after, Color Street is born. In addition to Color Street, Mr. Park also owns Incoco and Coconut nail-art brands.

How to Make Money With Color Street Nails?
There are two ways to make money with MLM companies, and Color Street Nails is no exception.
- Selling products to make commissions.
- Recruiting people to become your downlines to hit group sales targets for extra bonuses and incentives
Get Started
You need to apply to become an independent stylist, and it’s the lowest level on Color street. Then you can purchase the starter kit($129), which values $250 products.

Besides the starter kit, you also need to pay a $9.95 monthly eSuite website fee for ongoing sales and marketing materials support. It helps you:
- your shopping website
- Virtual Office tools and resources
- personal and customer order information and history
- personal and team reporting
- commission and rebates activity
- business documents and resources
The cost doesn’t stop here! (WHAT?)
To be active and eligible for commissions, you need to sell at least 300PV at least one of the past 6 months.
So, now we can calculate the total cost for one year of becoming a Color Street Nail’s Independent Stylist.
- Starter Kit $129
- A Monthly eSuite Fee $9.95($9.95*12 months=$119.4)
- 300PV at least one of the past 6 months, total 600PV
The best case is $848.4. Other costs, such as additional training, travel, gas, food, or miscellaneous expenses, are not included, so the total cost must be higher than my calculation here.
It’s a lot less than a brick-and-mortar business, but it’s expensive for people with a tight budget? Right?
Color Street Compensation Plan
The compensation plan is the most complicated element of this review.
Most MLMs use fancy terms and acronyms to make people see loads of ways to make money, and that’s why I feel confused every time reading them.
Don’t worry. I’ve made things easier for you today:
- Jump Start Rewards: Earn $50 product credits in your first 95 days
- Base Retail Commission: Earn 25% based on your personal volume(PV)
- Enhanced Retail Commission: Earn 5-10% additional commission if hit target sales
- Jump Start Enroller Bonuses: To reward you for training your personally enrolled new stylists, you’ll earn $25 product credit when a stylist you enroll achieves any of the Sales Jump Start Levels.
This is probably everything you need to know about, but if you like to know more, you are more than welcome to read 2022 Color Street Compensation Plan.
Color Street Nails Hosting Program
You could host a Nail Bar with your friends around and talk about nail fashion all day long, just like the other MLM companies encourage their members to host parties to boost sales.
Any independent stylist could host a party to boost sales, and Color Street will cover the shipping cost & you would get free or half-priced products. You may check HERE for more details.
Color Street Ranks
There are 9 ranks in Color Street’s commission structure. Typically, the higher the ranks, the more requirements you need to achieve to keep your status.
- Stylist
- Bonus Qualified Stylist
- Senior Stylist
- Team Leader
- Director
- Senior Director
- Executive Director
- Senior Executive Director
- National Executive Director and Above

Who Is Color Street Nails For?
People who love nail art and want to make a few bucks. It could be nail artists, stay-at-home moms, or salon owners.
As for me, I am the kind of person who likes to pursue a more sustainable way to generate passive income from the internet while I sleep. I am going to tell you my alternative in one minute. Read on!
What I Liked About Color Street Nails
TOP#1 Made In the USA
Surprisingly, all products from Color Street are made in the USA, while we live in a world where almost everything is made in China.
It helps create more American jobs and boost the economy by selling products worldwide. I think every USA company could learn from Color Street.
TOP#2 Pretty Products
It’s hard to resist the products from Color Street Nails due to its well-designed product lines. This makes it easier for any Color Street Stylist to showcase the products.
The well-designed product lines make Color Street more attractive and eye-catching to potential buyers, and it’s also an excellent gift for your girlfriends, your wife, and your mother for special occasions.

TOP#3 Easy to Market
With pretty product designs, it’s easy to sell to women who are crazy about nail arts.
If an independent stylist loves what she promotes, it’s highly possible to make more sales than those affiliates who don’t like the products.
Ugly Truth About Color Street Nails
TOP#1 Expensive Than Other Brands
If you shop for nail strips, it’s easy to find that Color Street is more expensive than other brands.
Color Street marks up 30-40% of product prices to pay a small percentage back to affiliates since they do marketing, promotions, and hosting home parties to boost sales.
Color Street Nail strips’ average price is $13, while other brands start at $6. When you can find cheaper alternatives, it’s really hard to sell similar products at higher costs.
TOP#2 Color Street Income Disclosure 2021
The Color Street Income Disclosure 2021 told us interesting numbers and the cold hard truth. Let’s read them!

- Stylists(59.66% of all Stylists) make $256 in 2021.
- Bonus Qualified Stylists(29.82% of all Stylists) make $1,887 in 2021.
- ONLY 0.24% of all Stylists make $100k or above in 2021.
Now, tell me, do you think making money with Color Street Stylist is easy or not? I guess “NO!”
You can’t quit your 9-5 job by selling Color Street Nail Strips because it’s far from enough.
Most of them are even under the minimum wage than a corporate job. You may start this business opportunity as a side hustle, not as your primary income source.
TOP#3 No BBB Accredited
BBB stands for Better Business Bureau, which is a good reference for whether a company is trustworthy. Color Street is not BBB accredited, and you could check their profile HERE.
I tend to trust companies with good BBB ratings like this one since it gives me more confidence to sell their products.
Is Color Street Nails A Scam?
No, Color Street Nails is NOT a scam.
It is a typical MLM(multi-level marketing), just like our parents sell Tupperware. If you love nail art and want to sell many beautiful nail strips, you could go for it and make a few bucks. But, it’s not for me.
When it comes to making money online, there are plenty of options on the internet, such as freelancing, dropshipping, GPT sites, drop services, or affiliate marketing. Wanna know my top pick?
My Alternative to Making Money Online
My alternative to making money online is through affiliate marketing instead of promoting Color Street Nail strips in person.
Imagine you sell the products to your friends, family, or anyone you know. Don’t you feel embarrassed or blushed? They might avoid you ever since.
Doing affiliate marketing will save you from that:
- It’s free to start your affiliate marketing business.
- You don’t need to buy physical products and sell them face to face.
- There is no monthly minimum sales quota in affiliate marketing.
- You don’t recruit people to become your downlines to build a team.
- You are not restricted to promoting one product. You can promote anything you like!
- Work on your schedules & you are your OWN BOSS!
You only need to start a blog with quality content. So every time people land on your site to read your product reviews or other articles, they will find insight and value.
If they like it, they may purchase the products or services via your links. Here come your earning potentials.

The platform I am using currently is Wealthy Affiliate. You will find all the proven-to-work training courses, every Friday night LIVE training courses, one keyword research tool called Jaaxy, 24/7 site support, and the most friendly community.

Very interesting post. I was involved with something very similar to Color Street Nails many years ago. I didn’t like the fact that I had to purchase products and promote sales by holding classes or “begging” my friends and family to purchase them.
I agree that affiliate marketing is the way to go to earn some passive money. You do not have to arrange classes, purchase products, or meet a monthly quota. I also agree that Wealthy Affiliate is a great platform for learning how to be a successful affiliate earner.
Thanks so much for the post.

Hi Nina,
Yes, you have to host home parties or virtual parties online to make sales with anyone interested in your MLM products, and this is the most difficult part for most of us. People tend to give up in the first 3-6 months after a few setbacks, not to mention the low success rate of any MLM business.
On the other hand, affiliate marketing is indeed the best way to start making money online. It’s much affordable than any MLM business, easy-to-follow, and no prior experiences needed. I suggest people start a blog today to run an affiliate marketing business since it might change your life in the end.
Matt
Hi Matt,
Interesting – I had no idea you could buy nail strips like these. They must be safer for your health since they don’t give off that smell that nail varnish typically does, and which gives me a headache.
Still, as you say, this isn’t going to provide a full-time income for anyone – but it’s a nice way to earn some coffee money if you happen to like doing nails!
Cheers,
Martin.
Hi Martin,
Yes, Color Street Nails’ business opportunity is good for those who love nail arts or nail artists for work, but not good for normal people like me and you. There are all kinds of possibilities of making- money in the world, but the future should be on the internet. That’s why I think affiliate marketing is better than Color Street Nails.
Cheers,
Matt
I love Color Street Nails! I would love to get this as a gift, lol. They are so easy to apply. Although I am not a fan of MLMs, I can imagine that this one is probably easier to market, because most women love to do their nails. Hosting a nail party would also really help.
A friend of mine owns her own hair salon, and I am pretty sure that she would love to take a look at this. She would be totally into this, perhaps even the MLM opportunity.
The earnings are not enough to make a living, but I suppose that it can make some nice extra money.
To make a full income, though, I think it is more important to build your own business. It may take longer, but you are in control and you can really reap the benefits of it in the long term.
Hi Christine,
Yes, see you got my point that it’s really nice to market since women like pretty stuff and wear them every single day, so it’s definitely for those who love nail arts in the first place.
Since this business opportunity relies on home party and recruitments, running an affiliate marketing business through your websites is a better idea in 2020. You are able to promote things you have passion instead of just nail stirpes, right?
Cheers,
Matt
